KRK finished intensity map for video synthesizer.  It sits on PDP11
unibus. There is a program to set the map.  VITTST.PAL[1,KRK].
cabling needs to be done.


approached by Univ of Illinois for AL.  We aren't ready yet, but the
system will be available.  Paul has mentioned that later on, SRI might
use AL to code up applications.

Possible Liu as Asst Prof of ME to work on CAD here.
 he has an offer.  Also, he has an offer at Illinois.
In contact with Dr. David Grossman of IBM for one year.

Talked to Dr. Chern
  the proposal looks ok.  He has recommended it and forwarded it to the
  grant's office.  It will be dated April 1.
  He will be here in May.  He wants a meeting of the steering committee.
  People aren't enough aware of what Stanford is doing.  We must put
  forward what we are doing, who will be the user, what is his level,
  how he will program
